Kansas City Is Dangerous!

CALL Staff WriterIn the midst of planning for a street car that will take its riders about 2 miles at a start-up cost of about $100 million and the on going focus on a single terminal at Kansas City International Airport, data released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation lists Kansas City as one of the 10 most dangerous cities in the country.
Every year the FBI releases a list of reported crime data including murder, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, rape, and motor vehicle theft. The national rate is one and any number higher than that indicates a higher than average incidence of crime based upon per capita population. Although Kansas City came in 10th on the list, St Louis came in 2nd, according to CNN’s listing.
